1) Challenges
The nicotine product space is saturated and often lacks design clarity or visual credibility. Our goal was to build trust through a sharp identity and cohesive visual system that set GetNic apart from the noise. • Competitive Saturation: The market was filled with lookalike products and unclear branding, making differentiation a key challenge. • Trust & Legitimacy: Nicotine brands often face skepticism, so every visual and tone decision needed to feel professional and credible. • Visual Balance: The identity had to feel bold and memorable without relying on dated or overly masculine aesthetics that might alienate segments of the audience. • Packaging Credibility: Creating mockups that could visually carry the brand across digital and physical contexts, with a clean and modern look that built confidence.
2) Process
The project was approached with heavy emphasis on grounding the brand in strong visual storytelling, then expanding that system into packaging and digital concept development. • Brand Identity: Created a bold, modern logo system anchored by a goat mascot representing intelligence, dependability, and grit. This was paired with clean typography and a clear, recognizable structure. • Visual & Verbal Design: Defined a tone and aesthetic built around high contrast, confident color usage, and a direct, no-nonsense brand voice. • Packaging & Application:Designed packaging mockups that reflected the brand’s core traits while adhering to clarity and compliance needs. Visual assets were also applied to basic web layout concepts and marketing collateral. • Sales Enablement: Developed pitch decks, visual guidelines, and sample applications for future product expansion and promotional use.
3) Result
While the brand identity and assets were successfully developed, the site and packaging were never fully launched due to internal shifts within the company. • Brand Toolkit: Delivered a complete identity system including logos, color palettes, mascot lockups, and typography guidelines. • Packaging System: Created flexible mockups for product packaging and labeling with visual consistency across SKUs. • Foundational Web Direction: Established core visual layout ideas and brand extensions for future digital development. • Sales Materials: Produced concept decks and branded visuals used for early partner outreach and campaign testing.
